Matagorda Cemetery Road

As you come into Matagorda from
Bay City on Highway 60, you will pass the cemetery on
the left. There is a small road that runs in front of
the cemetery gates. Turn left onto that road. At the
end of the cemetery, you must turn left or right --
turn left. This road follows Intracoastal Canal for
several miles and there are fishing spots all along
this road. |

This area is good for fishing from the bank
or fishing from the bridges along this road. You can
expect to catch trout, redfish, flounder, and croaker. |

The nearest stores are in Matagorda. |
