Oyster Lake Park 'N' Fish
Back Forward

Oyster Lake Park 'N' Fish
Directions: From Hwy 60 in Wadsworth take Hwy 521 West toward the STP Plant. Continue on this road for 13.8 miles. Turn left onto Hwy 1095 and go 6.1 miles. Turn left on CR 364 (River Road) and go 8.8 miles. After one mile, the road curves a bit to the right and goes over a bayou. At this point, it becomes CR 365 (Oyster Lake Road). You should pass through Bowers Shrimp Farm, cross CR 372 and CR 376. Where the road ends, you will find a bridge which is good for fishing. On the left side of the bridge is Oyster Lake, and on the right side is Palacios Bayou. On the other side of the bridge you can curve to the right and drive down to the water's edge.
Fishing: This area is good for wadefishing, fishing from the bank, or fishing from the bridge. You can expect to catch trout, redfish and flounder. VERY GOOD FISHING HERE.
Notes: There are no conveniences at this spot - no restrooms, no food or drinks. You can camp here if you want.
